Ms. Richmond’s practice at Robinson & McElwee focuses primarily on litigation.  She has experience in general litigation, foreclosure law, oil and gas law, real estate title and transactions, and bankruptcy stays.

Ms. Richmond attended law school at Washington and Lee University, where she graduated with cum laude honors.  Ms. Richmond was a Lead Article Editor for the German Law Journal, a first place winner of the 2013 Washington and Lee Client Counseling Competition, and she taught Constitutional Law at William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Virginia as part of the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.  Additionally, Ms. Richmond was a research assistant for a Washington and Lee law professor focused on property and environmental law and she interned for Judge James Swanson in the Roanoke County Circuit Court during her 3L Externship.

Ms. Richmond holds two bachelor’s degrees, in Political Science and History, from West Virginia University.  While at West Virginia University, Ms. Richmond graduated with summa cum laude honors.  She was also honored as an Outstanding Honors College Senior, she was awarded the John Maxwell Historical Research Price, the John R. Romine Award in History, and the Munn Library Scholars Award.
