Alison Bibbee has been involved in political campaigns, fundraising, and legal consulting since the early 2000’s. As the Senior Government Relations Advisor at Robinson & McElwee, Ms. Bibbee works with lawyers and industry professionals to secure opportunities, solve problems, and achieve positive results for the firm’s clients in the state and federal political arena.
A political and fundraising consultant, Ms. Bibbee has worked with West Virginia state Congressman Evan Jenkins, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Conservation Corp of West Virginia, the West Virginia State Republican Party, Senator Shelley Moore Capito, and Delegate Eric Nelson.
For fourteen years, Ms. Bibbee worked for Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito in several capacities. She was Special Assistant to the Congresswoman and the Director of Scheduling/Fundraising for Capito for Congress in Washington, DC. Ms. Bibbee was also the In-State Director of Finance for Capito for Senate, where she was responsible for writing and implementing campaign finance plan which raised over nine million dollars. Ms. Bibbee also worked closely with West Virginia’s GOP State Party and local elected officials to raise money for the state party and GOP federal and state candidates.
Ms. Bibbee received her JD from West Virginia University’s College of Law in 1996 and she has a BA in English from College of Charleston. She is a member of the Cancer Institute Leadership Council and she is Chair of the Ways and Means Committee for the Garden Club of America/Kanawha Garden Club. Ms. Bibbee was a Member of the Women’s Committee of the Washington National Opera and she was Vice Chair of the 2010 Annual Event and Chair of the 2011 Midwinter Gala in Washington, DC. Ms. Bibbee was also on the Executive Board of French Heritage Society (Washington, DC Chapter), the NCAC WVU Alumni Board Member (Washington, DC Chapter) and she was the 2011 Gala Chair for Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center at the Greenbrier, in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
