Mary Williams is an associate at Robinson & McElwee whose practice is concentrated in real estate, eminent domain and condemnation, and civil litigation. She represents property owners, businesses, utilities, and other clients in matters involving real property acquisition, right-of-way issues, land use concerns, and condemnation proceedings, as well as a variety of commercial and civil disputes.

Mary has developed significant experience in complex real estate and condemnation matters, guiding clients through the legal and practical challenges associated with infrastructure projects, property rights, and valuation disputes. Her litigation background allows her to effectively advocate for clients both in negotiations and in court when disputes arise.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2023, Mary served as a law clerk to Judge Tom Scarr of the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals, where she gained valuable insight into appellate advocacy and judicial decision-making. She also worked as a Summer Associate with Robinson & McElwee in 2021.

Mary earned her Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she served as an editor of the West Virginia Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif in recognition of her academic achievement. She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Biology from the University of Virginia.
