Bio
Mr. Michael Ogline focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, business planning, business formation and succession planning. His practice includes the use of sophisticated planning techniques, drafting of tax sensitive documents, and representation of clients before the IRS. He is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.
Mr. Ogline is an active writer and speaker on issues concerning estate planning, probate, and the Ohio Trust Code. His articles have been published in the Probate Law Journal of Ohio and Ohio Lawyer Magazine. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.
Mr. Ogline is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel where he serves on the Transfer Tax Study Committee. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the category of Trusts and Estates and he is also listed in Ohio Super Lawyers. He is AV® Preeminent™ Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Active both professionally and in his community, Mr. Ogline has served as President of the Stark County Bar Association and as Chairman of its Probate Practice and Certified Grievance Committees. He is also a member of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Council and of the Estate Planning Specialty Board of the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Ogline helped to establish the Greater Alliance Foundation and served as one of its trustees. He also served as President of the Stark County Board of Park Commissioners and as Law Director and Councilman-at-Large of the City of Alliance.
